Sand on the Seashore
This collection was inspired by Sea Shells from a winter vacation in Golf Shores, Alabama. Soaking in the sand and sun made me think about Psalm 139:17-18
"How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You."
Spring Calves
This collection was inspired by excitement of picking out new spring calves for 4-H. Showing diary cattle has been such an amazing experience! Spring time comes with the smell of fresh hay and the wet kisses of sweet little calves. The kids love going to the farm. They learn the value of hard work and getting dirty. They learn where their food comes from. They gain wonderful life skills and have so much fun!
The joy and anticipation of spring makes me think of Isaiah 35:1-2 "the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing. They shall see the glory of the Lord, The excellency of our God."
